Converging with the talent in town for SXSW, tech experts, futurists, industry leaders, designers and students will dive into a series of discussions on how life in cities will change, how entertainment, shopping and business will shift, how we’ll build things in whole new ways … and a lot more.

Imagine tuning into a live global esports tournament via VR goggles. Or asking your favorite athlete for advice. Or watching a holographic football game on your kitchen counter. As the worlds of gaming, sports, technology and arena entertainment merge, what new experiences will be created?

Future Work In Connected Cities + Life - 12.30pm

What if your toothbrush becomes smart enough to know when to call the dentist? Or you can vote from your phone, or catch a drone taxi? Will you decide to implant a payment chip in your hand or 3D print a house you design? How will these innovations shift the ways we live and work?

Future Work In Medicine + Wellbeing - 1.45pm

Imagine being able to do remote surgery. Have precision medicine created just for you. Digital mental health counselors and meditation in every classroom. On-call nutritionists and communal dinners cooked by robots. How will data and advancing technology shape the ways we take care of ourselves and each other?
